Convertible Molding Machines

Custom built rubber and TPE molding machines are just the tip of the iceberg at Twin Pines. The true flagship of our line is the TPE/R machine or convertible molding machine. This innovative design allows you to switch between molding rubber and molding thermoplastics quickly, and easily. Thus, one convertible molding machine can do the work of two machines.

The conversion process is simple and requires no swapping of parts. Whether going from rubber molding to plastic molding or vice versa, you only have to make a few adjustments before resuming full production capabilities. Since the entire conversion process can be completed in under an hour, convertible molding machines don’t just save you money, they save you time too. Conversion takes less time that a new machine would take to get up to temperature, not to mention the time it would take to get it ready to go if its not already out on the floor.

However, consistency is what makes our convertible molding machine truly remarkable. As demonstrated by our shot size repeatability analysis, the machine maintains excellent consistency across both the rubber and plastic molding processes. It truly gives you two machines in one.
